Bio

Nina Tang, residing in Atlanta, GA, is a freelance Illustrator who is presently enrolled in Illustration courses at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her primary creative passions encompass conceptual environment design, character design, and animated editorial illustration. Her artistic journey has been profoundly shaped by the captivating worlds of fairy tales, anime, and manga that she immersed herself in during her formative years. Among these influences, manga and anime hold the most significant sway over her artistic vision. From a young age, she aspired to become a manga artist/illustrator, and after experimenting with various artistic mediums, she ultimately decided to pursue her passion through digital drawing.

Artist Statement

My introduction to art began with anime and manga. As I watched and read more, I developed a strong desire to express my imagination through illustrations. I often find inspiration in my own life experiences, emotions, and the anime/manga I'm currently enjoying. I like to experiment with different art styles, and my work often emphasizes the importance of lines and textures. While I primarily focus on conceptual design, I also explore other areas like editorial and animation illustrations.
